Adios Cancun!

Cancun was tons of fun.  It was nice to get a break from real life and relax and play with our friends for a week.  We miss it already.  

Here are a few more pictures we took by the beach.  Jenny-- I know you are not going to love me for posting these... but you are just too beautiful not to :)

Cancun Day 7

On Friday, we went to swim with the dolphins.  It was very cool.

After the dolphins, we went to Wet 'N Wild for a bit.  The slide in this picture is my favorite.

This is our other favorite slide.  We call it the toilet bowl slide.  Fun stuff.

When we got sick of that, we went back to our hotel and chilled on the beach for the rest of the day.

Gotta love this one.  Cheeseball.

We didn't end up having enough time to do this, but I loved watching them fly over the ocean.

After the beach, we cleaned up, took some couple's pictures and went to dinner to celebrate Jenny's birthday.  Happy 31st!

Cancun Day 6

On Thursday, we went to a theme park called Xcaret.  Mike and I have been there before and we wanted to take Levi and Jenny there.  There are tons of things to do at Xcaret.

We went snorkeling and swimming in the underground river.  I think that is our favorite part of the park.

We went snorkeling in the bay by the ocean.

Then we relaxed in the hammocks.

There are lots of animals at Xcaret.  This guy was hanging out on the wall outside of the jaguar pen.

These are the Papantla Fliers.  They're nuts.  No nets and no safety harnesses.  These guys were a small part of the show at night.

Cancun Day 5

On Wednesday, we went to the zip line.  It was fun.  Not really very exciting, but fun.

After the zip line we went back to the hotel so the Marchant's could pack up and get ready for their flight home.  In the meantime, we laid around and ate more junk.

After the Marchant's left for the airport, it started raining, and we went into town to go shopping.  It was the perfect day for rain and the only day of the trip that it was stormy.

The market we went to downtown was huge and had tons of stores.  Mike and I had been there before on our honeymoon.  We bought a swim cover for Hallie, an Indiana Jones hat for Bryant, and we bought super hero capes for all of the kids.  I bought a pair of earrings for me and Steph (for watching my kids) and some Mexican vanilla for Becky and my mom.

After our shopping trip, we took the bus back to the hotel, ate some dinner and went to bed.
