Today, I had the privilege of witnessing the adoption of a beautiful little girl into a really amazing family. My friend, Krisanne, invited me to the adoption and I was lucky enough to be able to bring my camera along :)
Claire was placed with Krisanne and Landon last year. It's been a really long road for them to be able to get to this point, but they FINALLY made it! This is one lucky little girl to be able to have such amazing parents and siblings!
We met at the courthouse in Ogden. On Trek, we talked about holy places. While this adoption was taking place, I truly felt like that courtroom was a holy place. The spirit witnessed to me and I'm sure to everyone else, that this was meant to be and that this little girl was supposed to be linked to this family for eternity. What an amazing experience.
After the hearing, we headed outside for some more photos.
And began the celebration!
Congratulations, Lewis family! We are so happy for you and can't wait to see you sealed together forever on Friday!
