Happy Easter!

Easter morning came much too early for the Jackson family.  But, we rolled out of bed at 7:30 a.m. and headed down to see what the Easter Bunny had brought.
Boy, were they excited! They checked out their buckets and hunted for treats.
I forgot to take a pic of everyone in their Sunday clothes so this is the best one I've got.
We invited the Jackson's over for dinner tonight.  I took a picture of the table before we ate, but forgot to take any while they were here.  Bummer.
I made this is "Resurrection Garden" a few days ago for our table centerpiece.  It turned out fantastic!

I loved preparing this little garden and watching it grow all week.  It was a great reminder to me of all our Savior has done for us, and helped me to remember this special day as it was approaching.
"He is not here: for He is risen."

Dyeing Eggs

Saturday afternoon we dyed Easter eggs as a family.
The kids were super creative with their decorating... Cameron had a happy/frowny egg.  I thought that was pretty funny.
Dyeing eggs was a lot of fun!

The Hunt

When we went to Nisha's on Monday, Grandma Julie planned some fun Easter activities for the kids.  She read the Easter story to the kids and played a fun game teaching them about the symbols of Easter.

After the lesson and the game, it was time to head outside to get ready for the hunt.  They were so excited!  And you guessed it... Grandma spoiled them ROTTEN again!
