In April, my sister, Anisha, and I took a trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. It was a much needed vacation for both of us. We took a red eye to New York and transferred planes to go to the D.R.
We arrived at JFK in New York around 6 a.m. It was a beautiful view of the city at sunrise. I can't wait to go back and stay!
We had an hour to connect to our next flight so we took some pics, bought some souvenirs, and ate some breakfast.
And then it was back in the air and on our way.

When we arrived at the airport, we had to exit the plane onto the tarmac.
The airport was pretty cool. It had a giant thatched roof over a huge room where we went through customs. We were glad to finally be off that hot plane and on our way to paradise.
