Last week, Hallie and her fellow 4th grade classmates were made knights, in honor of finishing their medieval unit.
We were invited to attend the ceremony at school.
A few of the kids spoke as famous people from history.
Haylie was Joan of Arc.
After the class repeated some chants about the era, they were knighted by their teachers.
Ms. Roundy dubbed Hallie, "Lady Hallie Silly."
The kids had a great time listening to the funny names their teachers gave them.
After the ceremony, before they went to their medieval feast, Lady Hallie Silly and Joan of Arc posed for a few pictures in the castle.
What a cute little princess!
