General Conference Tents

For LDS General Conference weekend, we always construct some sort of tents for the kids to be able to watch conference in.  This is a tradition that they have come to expect and love.
So this time, instead of breaking out the ropes and bungees, Mike decided to make something that would be a little more permanent.  He and the kids constructed their own tents out of wood that fold up so we can store them until next time.
They loved having their own tents to play in.
They even wanted to sleep in them, so we set them up in the living room last night and turned on the fire for their own little campout.
I'm glad they had such a good time and hope that they will always remember the reason why we listen to General Conference, and why we make our tents-- after the manner of the Nephites, who turned their tents toward the temple to listen to a prophet of God.
