We decided to take a little field trip to Box Elder County with the Harris' for Labor Day.
We stopped at Call's Family Drive-In for lunch.
After lunch, we took a little drive out to the bird refuge, which was unfortunately closed due to the holiday. Duh!
We still had a great time, though, looking for wildlife.
We found these massive frogs all over the marsh.
We took a drive around the refuge to see what else we could find. It was long, hot and buggy, but beautiful.
We made a few stops and found a few more surprises along the way.
Hundreds of these poor fish were stuck in the channel. They were too big and there was too little water for them to swim out.
When we finally finished the drive, we headed back to Brigham to see the temple.
After stopping at the temple, we made one more stop on our way home at our favorite country store.
We always have a great time at Smith & Edwards. There are so many fun things to play with.
Rhett and Cameron found some fun toys, and so did Mike and Matt.
And Hallie.
And Capri.
We had lots of fun and spent some money, too. Happy Labor Day!
