Yesterday my mom went to receive her endowment in the Provo Temple. It was a big day with a lot of mixed emotions.
She chose the Provo Temple because she attended the dedication as a child, so it had special meaning to her.
My sister, Anisha, and I were able to both be her escorts. It was so fulfilling to be able to see her find happiness and take this big step in her life (no, I am not an Amazon Woman and, yes, I look freakishly tall in this picture because I'm the only one wearing heels).
My mom's mom, Elaine (Grandma Music), her brother, Dan, her oldest sister, Chris, and her youngest sister, Gloria (missing from the picture) were able to attend. Her other sister, Meladee, who is endowed, was not there. It was so great to see my grandma so happy and I know that she has great peace, now, knowing that all of her children are on the right path. That made me very happy for her.
Here is my little sister, Anisha, my mom, Julie, my little brother, Shay, and me. There were definitely a few moments of sadness for me, knowing that my dad was not there, but the happy moments far outweighed the sad ones.

We missed you, Brad. It just wasn't the same without you. In honor of you, we took this one...
(my sister's hubby is working in Montana right now and couldn't make it) This one's my fave.
I think last night falls in my top five for best life experience. It was a good day.
