We decided to be brave and take a road trip to the Oregon coast at the end of June. The kids were all smiles when we set out but by the time we arrived in Boise, they were hangry. So we stopped for dinner before heading to the hotel for a swim and some rest.
The next day's drive was a little less pleasant, but we tried to make the best of it. Our first big stop was Multnomah Falls. It was beautiful. We took a walk up to the falls to get a closer look.
We tried to get Cameron to come with us to the bridge but he doesn't like heights and this was as close as we could get him to go.
Hallie & Bryant enjoyed the view and Hallie snapped a pic of us trying to get a selfie.
After our visit to the falls, we made a stop at the Portland Temple. Cameron wasn't very thrilled with our stop but it was short and we ended up having a good time.
After our stop at the temple we decided to get some ice cream to tide us over for the rest of the drive.
We also made a stop at the sporting goods store to mess around.
After about 8 hours, we finally made it to the condo at Rockaway Beach.
