2013 Trick-or-Treat

This Halloween was the first, in years, that we didn't celebrate by trick-or-treating with the Marchant's.  Sad.  But, we had a lot of fun with the Joneses again this year.
Cameron: the Jedi, Hallie: the vampire princess, & Bryant: the ninja

Cambelle: the witch, & Cooper: the zombie soccer player

And, after a few pics, they were off!  I was surprised at how much faster they had gotten this year.
We ran into lots of friends along the way and had a lot of fun visiting with all of our neighbors.
And after a while, things started to get a little crazy!
Of course, we had to visit our favorite house in the neighborhood.  It was as creepy as ever.
Cameron still made Mike take him up to the door, but there was no crying this year.  He really wanted that full-sized candy bar and jar of play dough.
The kids didn't walk anywhere.  They ran.  Fast.  And, Tom, they remembered to yell "LAME!" at every house that didn't answer.

After a few streets, Cameron started getting tired so Mike had to carry him on his shoulders.
Until we got back to our street when he got his last little boost of energy.
This is our cute little neighbor, Yoda.  I just couldn't resist.
It was pretty dark when we got home.  The big kids dumped their bags and headed back out with Mike and Ben for a few more blocks while Cameron and I sorted through his candy to figure out which ones to give to the treat witch.  Then we put him to bed.
Hallie and Bryant were excited to sort through their loot when they got home, but they were pretty beat.
A couple of cavities later...
