The Boy Who Lived

Bryant was hit by a car tonight while walking through a cross-walk on his way home from the Bountiful Light Parade with his BFF. Apparently, Ben, Cooper & Bryant were holding hands while walking through the cross-walk, when some lady who wasn't looking, drove through the cross-walk and hit Bryant and knocked him to the ground. She would have rolled right over the top of him with her SUV if Ben wouldn't have pounded on her dash board and windshield to get her attention. Bryant hopped right up and said he was ok and didn't even shed a tear, but the 30+ witnesses that were swarming the scene made him a little nervous. Needless to say, Bryant is fine, the lady got a citation, and Bryant and Cooper got a really cool trip inside an ambulance, and are now "famous." They can't wait to go to school on Monday and tell EVERYONE.

I am so glad that my sweet Bryant is ok. When he came home, he gave me a big, long hug, and when I think of what could have happened if Ben hadn't been able to get that lady's attention, I may not have my special little guy with me any more. Thank you, Ben, and thank you, Heavenly Father, for protecting my precious boy.
