We decided to go camping at Rockport Reservoir this weekend to celebrate Father's Day. On our way there, we stopped at the boat store to buy a tube to pull the kids. It was a lot of fun.
The big kids liked the tube but Cameron was still a little nervous and wasn't feeling well, either.

After playing on the lake for a while, Mike dropped me off at camp so I could get dinner started while they went out to catch some fish.

When they got back, they docked the boat near our camp site,
And attempted to clean Hallie's fish. She was so proud that she was the only one to catch a fish on Friday.
Then we sat down for dinner and put the fish on the grill.
We had some yummy dutch oven potatoes and chicken,
And warmed up by the fire.
We shared our campsite with a couple from Holladay. We invited our new friends, Eric and Heather, to have dinner with us. We had fun getting to know them.
Hallie and Bryant had plenty of fun playing with the fire.
And then we made smores.
Saturday morning, we woke up early to go fishing.
Cameron was super excited when we caught our first fish.
Bryant reeled it in and scooped it up with the net.
That's my proud little fisherman.
We caught a few more and ended up with three for the day. We took them home with us and fried them up for Sunday dinner. Yum.
I guess Hallie was a little hungry.
When we went back to camp to fix lunch, Hallie and Bryant decided to take their "boat" out for a spin.
Then Grandpa and Grandma Jackson stopped by to go for a ride.
Grandpa took Mike and I for a crazy ride and I went a few more times with the kids and that was about it. We were almost out of gas.
It was short and sweet, but we had a GREAT time!
