We decided to take Hallie and her friends to the rec center this year for a swim party.
So, in keeping with the swimming theme, I made her a swimming pool cake, complete with life-like gum paste Hallie (You can hear the sarcasm, right?)

So glad it finally ended.
And then the cousins crashed on my bed and watched a movie. What a long day!
Halle had such a great time - you threw a fun par-tay and once again outdid yourself on the cake! I loved the frosting-Hallie. P.S. Love your bed! (Remember we were talking about finally owning decent bedroom furniture?)
