Birthday Time!

Hallie celebrated her 7th birthday on May 19. We kind of spread it out over the whole week. On her birthday, she opened presents and took donuts to school. She was so excited.

For her birthday, she got a slip 'n' slide, a new swim suit, some sidewalk chalk, coloring stuff and some new makeup.

We went to Eagle Mountain to hang out after school. Aunt Nisha made her cupcakes and we sang, "Happy Birthday."

For dinner, we met Mike at Hallie's favorite restaurant-- Olive Garden. We ordered her favorite treat and sang to her again.

On Saturday, we had a big family party for her. She chose a Hawaiian theme. We were very festive. It was lots of fun.

The kids loved dressing up in their "Hawaiian" gear, even though it was raining outside.

We got a limbo stick. Grandma Julie made a good attempt.

Hallie loves her new favorite pet.

Hallie loved her "Hawaiian" cake. She asked for a blue flower that was pink inside. It was my first attempt at using fondant. Hmmm...

We are so glad that we have our little Hallie in our life and that we could celebrate another great year with her.
