2019 Oregon: Another Day at the Beach

We were so fortunate to have so many days of sunshine and warm weather while we were in Oregon. Of course, we had to take advantage of that and spend more time on the beach. That's pretty much all we did on Wednesday and it was great!

After we'd had enough fun in the water, we got cleaned up, went to dinner and enjoyed the sunset before playing a few rounds of cards. It was a good day.

2019 Oregon: Haystack Rock & Fire on the Beach

Tuesday morning we went up the coast to see Haystack Rock at Cannon Beach. We stopped along the way to check out the view.

When we parked at the beach we saw this cute little bunny so we had to snap a pic.

Haystack Rock was cool but overall it was a little underwhelming. We were hoping to see a bit more sea life there but there wasn't much and they had most of the area roped off. So we stayed for a bit and then hit the road in search of souvenirs. 

This was one of the fun shops we stopped at on the way back to Rockaway, where we bought some candy. After we shopped for a couple hours, we went back to the condo, took a nap and went back out to the beach for more fun. We flew a kite, went skim boarding and boogie boarding, played baseball and buried Cameron in the sand, roasted hot dogs and marshmallows, and watched the sun set. This was one of our favorite days.
